Information We Collect

WildTraqr collects account information, submitted sighting details, uploaded media, approximate public coordinates, saved sightings, and technical data needed to operate the site.

Location Data

If you use radius filtering, your browser may ask for location permission. Your precise browser location is used in the page to filter the map and is not stored by WildTraqr from that filter. Submitted sighting coordinates may be stored and displayed as public or approximate coordinates.

How We Use Information

We use information to display wildlife activity, review submissions, operate accounts, prevent abuse, improve data quality, and provide saved-sighting dashboard features.

Public Submissions

Approved reports may be displayed publicly with species, date, county, city or site, media, and approximate map information. Avoid submitting private-property details you do not want reviewed or displayed.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information when required by law, to protect the service, or with vendors that help operate WildTraqr.
